It’s all about perspective.
When I started in music, I worked with people who were all about the money. They were resigned to preying upon the masses instead of carving out their own path.
I was shown pictures of covers that made me cringe. The head of A&R said, “Sex sells. You are a wife. You will never understand.”
He was right. I am a wife. I am a mother. I’m a sister, an aunt and an avid believer in the notion that good things will prevail.
I believe that we do not have to objectify anyone to achieve success.
As a label, we can believe in what we do and trust there are others who feel the same way. We think that the need for inspirational music and widespread humanity is real.
All it takes is believing in ourselves first. Which we do.
In a world of popular music that drains the soul, we strive to offer a respite for those who are searching for music that enlightens, inspires and rescues the human spirit.
