Ryan McMahon On Tour with Legendary Rock Icon Burton Cummings

There is a warm welcome in the air at the first seven of eleven dates with Ryan McMahon sharing songs and stories as support to a portion of the Burton Cummings Canadian Tour. The tour started at Massey Theatre in New Westminster presented by Rockit Boy Productions on May 24th, 2023 and McMahon will see it through to the 15th of June in Medicine Hat.

“Burton’s audiences love a good story,” comments Ryan McMahon. “I have thirty minutes to share some music, but I find the most fun I’m having is engaging with the audience. Laughter is the best sound in a sold out room.”

Last night in Cranbrook on the seventh show, a patron approached the merch table for Ryan and asked the seller, “Which album has the tear-jerker on it?” The lady was referring to one of the Ladysmith-raised songwriters most heartfelt creations. He wrote the song This House is Not for Sale when his family had to finally part with the family home. The lady walked away with a copy of Ryan’s 2019 release In Line for a Smile.

Tomorrow Ryan is playing Found Book Shop in Cochrane on an off-night from the tour. Not one to waste time, McMahon booked solo dates in Alberta and BC throughout the tour. All tour information can be found at www.ryanmcmahon.com/tour.
